I saw a floppy disk version of WC1 Deluxe on Ebay when I was looking for a CD version. It had all the documentation and the WC1/2 guide. I was lucky enough to find a WC1/2 Deluxe CD combo, but it came with no documentation.

Really? I guess everytime I start a serious search, it has been bad timing. Your observation definitely gives me hope for further efforts though...thanks!

Just search for "Wing Commander"

You'll get a lot of movie DVDs, but mixed in is always some good stuff.

On searching a little more it does seem that a lot of the auctions that were up have since passed. I'd say just check often.

I did notice some jerk selling the KS WC3 discs for $9.99 a piece, which is fairly close to the original selling price. They are labeled as "replacement" discs.

They're kind of neat, though - this is the 'silver' repressing rather than the white original version. If someone only has the white one and wants a fun memento, maybe $10 is worth it...

eBay auctions are down significantly from before Christmas - ~50 results for Wing Commander rather than over 100... give it a few weeks.
