Well, I don't mean to brag (actually I do, but where's the harm? ;)), but *I* was the lucky bloke to get that deal!!

The winning bidder (manuelregien) did not submit payment within deadline, so the seller canceled his bid and re-instated mine ($20.00)!!

HEY!! $20.00 for FIVE WC NOVELS!! One of which End Run!!
Pretty nifty, huh?

So LOAF, does this enter your category of "good deals"? :D
 
$20 is a fair price for an End Run. If it hadn't been one of the five, it wouldn't have been that good a deal. A few dollars more would have bought 5 new novels from any store...
 
Well ok... if you say so... I was actually referring to prices on Amazon.com and Chapters.ca, which go around $5.00-$7.00 per volume... and not all of them are available.

On Amazon, I think only Freedom Flight, Fleet Action, and WC III are available (+ WC IV, but that isn't included in the eBay item I got)... hence I think I have good reasons to brag, non? :)
 
I just got lucky and found End Run (two copies, actually, and there's another at the store) at a store a couple years ago. Yay me!
 
A friend of mine gave me End Run to read. It was in decent condition when I got it 4 years ago. I hope that he doesn't want it back. Then again, he has my copy of WC III. Oh well.

Well it is!! You can WC III for less than $10.00 on eBay these days... on the other hand, End Run is quite hard to find... and the rare eBay items go for more than $20.00 usually. :p
 
Well, if you think that that isn't a good deal, then maybe this one is. I traded a friend of mine my copy of Freespace for his copy of the Kilrathi Saga.

Hey, speaking of a good deal. Today I picked up an original Armada with everything that's supposed to come in it for one buck.

Not for me laddie, in Argentina the only thing you can find of WC is the WCM novelization and some old copy of WCP, i buyed one for 30 $, but there are places that sell WCP for 65, 38 and 43 $, and buying anything from eBay is not an option for me. :(
