though oddly, while im happy to c a new WC release, im not thrilled to c it on a console. WC belongs on a PC.

Be that as the case may be, many people like LOAF and I are partially here because of the first console-based Wing Commander game on the Super Nintendo.

My Coolest WC Moment was my first Medal (Bronze Star) from the second mission in WC I on my Amiga. I had escorted the Drayman to the jump point and then was on the way home, I decided to go back through Nav I, becuase I was affraid of the Asteroids. I ran into a wing of Salthi and fried them. Got back onboard the Tiger's Claw and got awared the Bronze Star, great moment

im not saying that the console games are crap, though they are always missing things, ie planet missions WC3.

Or they have things the PC version did not.. In the case of WC3, cool CGI scenes for each of the planet missions and the deleted news videos and Hobbes traitor scene. Or more recently, multiplayer added to Prophecy.

i'll give u that, WC3 for PS had some good cg, and other video that the PC didn't have. but i never felt at home playing flight sims with a game pad. only a joystick will do.
though multiplayer would always b nice.
