Concerning the Kilrathi Saga manual...

The part describing all the ships seems inaccurate. On my copy, about the Hornet, it has these lines:

Missile Hardpoints (3 x 2):
2 DF / 2 DF
2 HS

But I've flown the Hornet, and I know it only has 2 DF and 1 HS. Unless they're double missiles or something, but they don't seem that way...
 
Well, you have to allow for variants–fighters of the same class but with different load-outs or capabilities–of which there are many examples, such as the Excalibur (F-103A in WC3, F-103B in WC4, and F-103D in Prophecy). The Hornet you flew is consistent with the specs in Claw Marks, but the Kilrathi Saga manual simply refers to a variant of same.
 
They doubled the missiles for some of the console ports -- they must have used the SWC or SNES manuals as a reference when doing the Kilrathi Saga book.
 
Really? Oh. However, the KS manual also has the same guns, missiles, and armor for the Thunderbolt and Longbow. That's not right...
