College stuff

Hey haven't posted in a while and just wanted to know who on the board is currently going to undergraduate college or university. Im a undergrad/grad student (damn ambiguous accelerated program) majoring in history at Fordham University in the Bronx, NYC. Just wanted to know where people go to school, what their schools are like, stuff like that. My school just had Spring Weekend which is basically drunken debauchery for a weekend. my roommate got arrested and my room was raided by campus security. Fun times. Finally, the NYPD showed up in riot gear to bust up about 1000 fordham students outside the three bars we all go to. If you want to see pics go to WhatsupFU.com. So drop me aline about your schools and other info like that

Why yes, I am a college student.

Why did your college mate get arrested? Was it related to porn somehow?

I go to Weber State University in Northern Utah. We are probably the most liberal and practical university in this part of the state. Finals are this week and I'm just about finished. My major is still undeclared. Any ideas smart guy?

my roommate got busted for drunk and disorderly conduct. my finals start on monday and im out by friday. thank god. its been a long semester.

University of New Hampshire...Anthropolgy Major, History Minor, brother at phi kappa theta

and I plan on getting drunk tonight yeah....

I would be getting drunk tonight if i wasnt sick. The last weekend killed all of us. Too much booze, no sleep. but this weekend i plan on going out a few times

I graduated from the University of Texas in Austin last year, with B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. LOAF will be attending there starting this fall.

UT's a great school, but on the flip side, its the liberal gathering of Texas (a state that's highly conservative), and all the hippie Green Party people piss me off. I was glad to get the hell out of there.

As for frat parties, I hardly ever went drinking in my last 2 years (upper division stuff). Besides studying, I was too busying doing tri-athlete stuff and working at Gamestop to do much else.

yeah I also work 3 jobs to pay my way through school, so when I have a chance I like to kick back...like tonight for example I'm typing this while I'm at work in the biosci library...

Im out of Fordham in 2 weeks. Can't wait. burnt out and tired after a year of partying and studying. Fordham's Jesuit Catholic tradition can also drive you freaking nuts. At least i dont have to eat the atrocious cafeteria food since my apartment in the dorm has a kitchen.

I am studying for my BSC in Sports Science at the mo, graduate this summer. Going to go on for a PHD hopefully in exercise physiology. I never get to go out really, snowed in with all the work we have to do. I also work 2 jobs which keeps me pretty busy when I am not in school.

I am here in the UK, any other guys in Uni over here?

I am. Im doing a B.Eng in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering at the North East Wales Institute of Higher Education in Wrexham. Just about finished my second year (of a three year course).

BA, History, Virginia Wesleyan College
MA, History, Old Dominion University

A word of advice Dragonslayer: Enjoy your college years for they will be one of the best times in your life- trust me on that. Don't do anything stupid (like your roommate did), but all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.....so to speak. I learned as much about life as I did everything else while I was in college. I wouldn't trade the experience for anything.

Well after five years of active duty in the Marines I figured the government could pay for my schoolin'. (Will be celebratin' seven years of service in July - 5 active, 2 reserve)

Washington State University
working on BA in History with a teaching certificate with a supporting endorsement in Earth Sciences.

Oh believe me I have a great time. Just burnt out after the weekend's festivities. If you look at the pictures you can see what a shitbox this place turned into this weekend. Now i want to get through finals, go to the beach, and pull some decent cash temping in NYC

I got to College Misericordia, in Dallas, PA. I'm an accounting major there, although I've been throwing around the idea of becoming a communications major. They're so close, I know.

It's a nice small school of around 1500 students, which is actually small than my high school. It's near Wilkes-Barre, but even then, there's barely anything to do, but most of the students there go home anyway. We just finished our finals on Friday, so now just about everyone is home.

Me and LOAF are members of an elite Delta Force of University Employees.

I'm studying ecology in Vienna, but currently I'm serving in the army. I'll continue my studies later, in October.
