Claw Marks

Is it me, or are the Blueprints in the Claw marks manual horribly inaccurate? I've noticed various things change size depending on angle, while other things change shape altogether. (eg. the tailfin's on the Hornet Light Fighter are different scale on the top view then on the side view. and the circular indentation is circular on the forward winglet in top view, while it has somewhat of a dimple on the side view.) Not to mention, they don't even compare to the blueprints included with the game. Anyone else notice any irregularities?

Your're right about that.
I noticed that the very fist moment I saw them, and by that time it was only my fist year at my engineering drawing training.
If I someday have the time (and hardware) I'll redraw them.
I already have some good wireframe-models but I need time to creat the internal structur.

I awalys had the impression that the blueprints and Claw Marks sketches were done hatily with a Bic pen.

Even though I think they are awesome... The missiles are ridiculous. and the different drawings disagree in several parts: where is the scim's cockpit?

Unfortunately the Scim's cockpit is the most arguably misplaced item from claw marks due to the disagreeing blueprints, diagrams and sprites.

Precisely :)
IIRC, the best source for placing it would be the "putting-the-helmet" pre-take off scene and the "You surelly got youself shot up-or-something" post-landing scene. I really like those.

I noticed that it is somewhat on the topview schematic. It is also visible on the Blueprints that came with WC1 I spent alot of time working with those in the construction of my WCRPG. I'll post the rules as soon as I finish it off. I will also post where I think the cockpit is.

Doesn't the in-game takeoff sequence show the location of the cockpit? (when bluehair put's his helmet on..) I'll have to boot up KS and check it out. Also notice how funky the cockpit on the hornet looks from above. It's really difficult to model in those dimensions.
