He was also in the Season 5 Episode of TNG "The First Duty", in which he played Cadet First Class Nicholas Locarno, Squad Leader of Nova Squad, the Academy Acarobatic Display team. He was expelled for his part in a Crash that killed a member of the Squad, unfortunately that member wasn't Wesley Crusher

Always hated that Wesley kid. Expecting him to die in an explosion but never happened. Damn producers.

The next worst annoying kid is probably the Ferengi cadet on the Defiant (DS9).

I like Nog. Plus he's no longer a Cadet, he was given a Field Comission of Ensign, and then at the end of the Series was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade. Also the actor who played Nog is 34 (hardly a Kid)

For being a smart, overachieving know-it-all who everyone liked, being a genius, able to jump straight from civillian to senior bridge crew, kept saving the day, was perfect, etc.

At least he dropped out of Starfleet.
