Choppy Sound In Kilrathi Saga

I posted a thread in the tech forum a while back concerning choppy sound in Wing Commander 3 and possibly 4. But I have come up with a solution on my own.

Seeing as how the Playstation version of Wing 3 features the missing scenes from the PC version, I might just as well track down that version and play that one. As for Wing Commander IV, I can simply play it in DOS.

Maybe one of these days I'll pop in the Kilrathi Saga on a newer computer and it will play perfectly. . . Maybe one day. . .

Are you aware there's a patch to make part 4 run in Windows with full DirectX support?

I believe the Playstation version lacks several missions and options in both games, despite having the extra cutscenes.

And yet again my fragile faith is yet again shattered. Ah well. I suppose I could ask your advice on how to resolve the choppy sound/video in Wing3. And yeah I tried the Win95 patch for Wing4. Not 100% sure it's the same problem as Wing3. . . But who knows.
