cartoon direct links

Hi all,

Just heard about the Academy cartoons! Gotta get em, but the links are php pages which call the cartoons. I need the direct links to the avi files so i can catch them in getright. 68mb for a download is too big when we have a 2 hour cut off for dial up here in the uk.

can anyone help with direct links?

THe direct links arenot available due to leach attacks. My Realmedia versions are down because of the same problem.

Why don't the CIC make a campaign for people to make this files available on kazaa?

You’re right; it's too complex to do that. It would be to hard to even conceive how such an arduous task could be undertaken.

No... just direct links. There are links to a php script that starts the download. This, apparantly, doesn't work with GetRight (which I find odd, as you should be able to tell getright to catch any download at all, at least if I remember the version I used years ago correctly).

Actually I think the whole point of making links this way is to prevent download managers like Getright or DAP to manage the download (ie, do multiple downloads). Sometimes it's possible to aquire the direct link by doing a little searching.

Someone needs to learn how to use vB code.

I tried that (the url tag), but it always ends up with a "<br >" tag in the middle of the url. I used the href so it can be copy paste to a txt file, then rename to html and they'll be working.
Anyway, if someone finds the solution, I'll edit my post to correct them.
