Seventh Part of the Seal
So asthetically, which would you guys choose as the most visually pleasing carrier?

My take? I kinda like the BWS Intrepid. Yeah i know, she's an old rust bucket, but I still think its a pretty cool design.

What about Concordia-class supercruisers (WC Movie, including Tolwyn's flagship)? They have a flight wing, just like the other 2 cruisers mentioned (Waterloo and Cerberus). :)

You're more then welcomed to add them in if you like... I was even going to dedicate one slot to the "Tiger Claw" from the movie... however the polls only allow 10.

But they aren't good looking enough to qualify for the poll.

Hehehe...

Why are Victory and Lexington both listed?

Do their paint jobs matter that much?

Do we ever see the Austin?

Come to think of it, I don't even remember what the Concordia super cruisers looked like, and I've seen the movie at least four times.

Rapier, Tiger Claw, Diligent, I have no problem remembering what they looked like, but not Concordia or the base that was attacked at the beginning of the film.

They're fantastic, they're the one ship in the movie that everybody likes - literally WW2-style battleships in space.

I always wanted to like the *idea* of the Confederation-style look - a big, heftily armed carrier-dreadnaught with an aura of barely restrained power - but in practice she looks just a little too clunky to really love. So I voted for the Bengal. The Concordia is an elegant lady, and the 'Claw a wolf, especially the Academy version.

Regarding the supercruiser, there's a few sketches of the underside of her in the "Making of the Movie Map" video posted a few years back; those should come in handy to anyone interested in doing artwork. (Not to mention the original Confederation flag art in color. Turns out I need to do some changes to my reproduction.)

The Concordia on the WC2 box was what first caught my attention to WC, so that´s an easy pick for me. :)

Midway - I like the overall design, it's more like a flying base than a carrier.

2nd would be the Vesuvius...

The Midway is probably the most 'iconic' Confed carrier - Prophecy did a good job of creating a ship that worked visually like the USS Enterprise did for Star Trek.

(I think I voted for Gettysburg, assuming it meant TCS Gettysburg... I've always had a soft spot for the Waterloo-class ships. The dual bays and the neat conning tower are great... or maybe they were always just such a rare treat to see in WC2-and-addons...)

... didn't one of those get blasted at the begining of the movie? I swear I saw at least one ship with an almost Identical configuration get blasted by... oddly enough, a Kilrathi Dralthi. Its a shame, you can't really see where the flight deck is on that thing.

The start of the movie has a spacedock full of Concordia and Bengal-class ships being dive-bombed by Dralthi.
