BREAKING NEWS: First Footage from the WCA DVDs (November 25, 2011)

One big question has been on Wing Commander fans' minds these past few months: how are the Wing Commander Academy episodes going to look on the upcoming DVD set? Visual Entertainment Inc. has now answered that question by posting the first footage from the release on YouTube, a high quality version of the show's intro sequence. And the verdict is... great! The footage looks cleaner than it has ever been before. There's also new box art (below)--it's sharper and the planet has been replaced with a nebula. Be sure an put in your pre-order at Amazon Canada.

The clip looks and sounds amazing! It looks so fresh. I can't wait to get mine in the mail. I can even hear subtle things I never notice before in the music thanks to a boost in audio clarity as well.

I've just compared it with the Intro of the version which used to be uploaded here: Payback looks blue in both versions. I've also checked "Walkin Wounded". There's isn't much difference in the colour of Payback's skin.

Yes, but she's the same darker blue in the original intro.
