Big Problem!

I have got now a new old RIVA TNT 2 Video Card and Win XP.
I tried to install WC 3 again but it failed!
when i check for univbe an error occours: didnt found compatible grafik or something like that. Can somebody help me? What shall I do?

I don't know how well WC3 runs in WinXP, but that sounds like WC3 moaning about how it needs a VESA compatible video card. Have you tried running UNIVBE on the CD?

yes of course but it crashes everytime... I tried everything... I think it's my TNT 2 chip... Where can i get a VESA/UNIVBE Driver for it?

I am not running kilrathi saga because WCII is on the fritz and there is no since on playing at this time until I can locate another copy somewhere

i have reinstalled win 98 as my second OS and now WC3 works fine

That's really odd... I have a Riva TNT2 M64 and WC3 and 4 work fine with SVGA. What reference drivers are you using?
