You can only fly the WC3 simulator once, so that one doesn´t count much...

My favourite is WC Academy, because you get to make your missions the way you want them.

The WCP simulator is great. Sure, you can design your own missions in Academy, but your designing possibilities are insignificant compared with the power of WCP Pascal :p.

I remember doing some practices there.

Really? It´s been a while since I played WC3 - that´s next on my list - I´m finishing again the whole WC1->SMissions->WC2->SOps sequence first.

I just remember flying against Flash.

i cant believe no ones voted for WC1, the farther you advance it almost gets impossible thru the endless wave of fighters
WC2 didnt have a simulator, anyone know why??

They had to make room for premium-sized berths. :)

WC1's simulator was quite boring, I never bothered playing again after I tried it a few times, so I never noticed it getting harder as you progressed in the main campaign.

BTW, funny description for the Academy simulator: "space-simulator simulator"? :)

Oh yeah, and WCP's sim is my favourite too. So many things to do! I think I played through the simulator missions before actually playing the main campaign the first time I played WCP.

I liked the style of WC1 but I like the music and graphics of WCP. WC3 was kind of an in betweener.

The WC1 'sim wasn't endless -- you had four waves of each fighter, depending on where you started. (1 Salthi -> 2 Salthi -> 3 Salthi -> 4 Salthi -> 1 Dralthi -> 2 Dralthi... until you got to 4 Gratha. If you beat 4 Gratha, you won!)

The WC3 'sim is more than just the Flash mission -- there are ten or so training missions that introduce you to the basics of the game... you can use them at any time during WC3 (while on the Victory, at least). The console versions (3DO & PSX) had different sim missions.

I liked the WC1 simulator. It was annoying you couldn't change the fighter available (after flying my first mission on the Scimitar, I had hoped it would be available on the simulator so I could get used to the different turn rates and speed, but no luck), but that was really the only part I didn't like about it.
