Behemoth

But I thought

Wasn't the Behemoth just designed to take out those little Darket fighters? Like it sucked them all in that big gaping hole and then they came out in pieces from behind. Oh man, those aliens were so fake looking!

even if they had reached kilrah the fact that the entire grand fleet was in orbit would probably give the kats a reasonable chance of destroying it anyways

Where does this 'grand fleet' thing come from? I'm not familiar with it being used to describe anything but the two fleets the Confederation used to end fhe Pilgrim war.

Yes... but what's the source for referring to the fleet massed at the end of WC3 as the 'grand fleet'?

(The phrase is a historical allusion, referring to the British 'Grand Fleet' of World War 1. I understand why they used the term for the Pilgrim stuff, but I'm at a loss re: the Kilrathi.)

they say it in the game

Don't you mean the Kilrathi's fleet, lad? The one Thrakath had? Those are the only Grand Fleet I'm aware of in that time period of WC - the novel makes mention of the Grand Fleet in orbit on p.349.

So what would be the proper term? "That bunch of cap ships in orbit"?

I remember seeing it in HOTT and maybe even FC because I think they mention it when they are talking about either the vorgath or about blair...

Wasn't that the 'Allied Grand Fleet'?

Anyway, even tought it's not official, it doesn't seem like a terrible term to use, like Big or Massive.
