Attention, everyone.

This thursday morning (5.29), foreign minister Anna Lindh died from an internal bleeding after some nut stabbed her while she was shopping at a local warehouse.

The second attack at a swedish politician (excluding cakethrowing) in recent history... Looks like a motiveless act as well. :mad:

Anyway, everyone's all upset, yaddayaddayadda. Vote regarding EMU will not be cancelled.

Um, who dat?...

I heard about this. She was greatly beloved by her nation and her people. NPR painted a very favorable picture of her on the radio this morning. I'm sure she'll be missed.

Could be motiveless, but probably has something to do with the vot about the euro. Probably some fanatic anti-euro 'activist'.

Mein Beileid.

I think, the murderer was a Swedish Neo-National-Socialist or an enemy of world wide globalization. May be an underground terror organization in Sweden. :( :mad:

At the murder scene there was an army jacket found...

Knife-laws... LOL! That would be quite the experience!

cff: Hold your horses there, she was trying to make people vote Yes, and the No-side has the upper hand so far. With a decent margin. If she's as stellar as everyone says (it seems I'm the only swede who only have 'Vote yes for EMU!' to associate with her), I can't think of a reason to kill her. Hm... Right, unless she ran a policy that some extreme right-wing freakshow didn't appreciate. That would make some kind of sense.

Malar: If something doesn't happen to back that statement up (underground terror-bunch) in 24 hours starting now, you're wrong. Either way, speculation is pointless on our end. Let's hope the investigation goes better than with Palme.

Sry for crossposting

First said, I'm not a TV-Junkie or -idiot ;-)
if you mean the "TV Sensation from USA", »24«.

In Germany it's also showed, too and it's a better one of all the TV "shit" (If you ever know, what crap showed in german TV hrhr soaps & co, like casting shows. Each race or folk has its own prolets. Unfortunately also in the media -> casting show plebs).

I'm not refer that to the topic. But a nice metaphoric parallel.
@Mystery Muppet

Good show (new season 10/28), doubtful thats what he meant though. Usually if it is a terrorist organization, they like to claim responsibility pretty quickly. Sometimes when its a really devastating attack, multiple terrorist groups will fall all over themselves trying to claim responsibility.

One word: Fortuyn
His party also didn't have much chance, and still he was murdered. And just like in the current case it will actually have the reverse effect then what the murder hoped for. Before the deed the No was clear. Now the Yes voters are almost at 45% AFAIK...

@Preacher:

I used this words to show more dramatic and rhetoric in my sentence.

And yes, globalization = means = world-wide connection of economical interest.

You get an A+, Preacher ;)

Malar: What Viper61 said.

cff: Well, we'll find out today. Which side wins the vote, that is. Last I heard, Yes was up to 42, but then again, I pretty much leave that for those who actually cares to know about those numbers. :)

?....

Words which mean a particular thing + more (different) words which mean that same thing = Redundancy

In other words, your original phrase was repetitive, but it was redundant... :rolleyes: :D
