Armada (What the...?)

Doesnt WC:A use the WC3 engine? I remember reading a review of it many years ago. Anyway I just bought it and it uses a sprite engine, but better then WC2.

Can anyone please clarify my situation, did they make to types of the game?

No, Armada uses one of the better engines I've seen...it's sort of in between Privateer and WC3.

Armada uses a 3D engine. Academy uses sprites.

It`s the same engine but supports only 320x200 resolution, while WC3 supports 640x480.

Thanks. Can anyone tell me if I can get the game to detect MS Force Feedback (Windows Joystick), as it doesnt - and cant find any drivers allowing it for DOS operation.

Digital sticks don't work in pure DOS (DOS box is okay). It's technically possible to write DOS drivers for them, but nobody does it.
