Have you tried fooling with the settings in moslo? Usually there's one point where it'll just *click* and start working...
(As for me, I play on a WC-specific computer... but that computer is a P3/500, so I have to disable the system cache before I play. If worse comes to worse, you should be able to do that on your computer.)
