looks kinda like a water color but its hard to tell from that scan. could be pencil/ink combo

Very nice work. The Excalibur looks a bit weird, but the proportions look right, and the background is a beauty. I'd like to see more people doing traditional fanart - 3D and CG stuff is all well and good, but even an average hand-done piece has something that sophisticated ones often lack.

Yep, tis a watercolour. I had another one of a carrier but that fell behind my bookshelf which is currently 300 miles away. Anyway, thanks to all for your comments.
