A little question

Hello everybody.I have a little question which has
puzzled me.A while back I purchased from a local used
bookstore a Wing1&2 deluxe edition. All of the software
sold at these places were previously owned.Whoever had
owned it it before me, had included some extra things. In
addition to the Wing1&2 manuels it also came with a Victory
Streak and privateer manuel. My question is on page 17 of the
victory streaks it correctly lists Flints homeworld as
Locanda, while in my original Wing3 manuel it incorrectly
list it as Earth. Also on page 42 in the ads section,it
correctly lists the contact information for the cardgame
as Vagabond. The original version once again got the info
wrong, listing another prominent wingman who's name also
begins with a v.This might seem seem like a small thing
,but these small variations have puzzled me does anyone
know where the other manuel with the correct info is from
i.e. mac,console et cetara.-Bhaktadil

I really don't know... since both the VS I have on hand list Flint's home as Earth and Vaquero as the contact for the game. They aren't real continuity problems as we know Flint came from Earth before they settled on Loconda from the WC3 novel:

"My father commanded a Home Defense squadron after we settled here from
Earth. Taught me everything he knew about flying."

There's also no reason why Vaquero can't be a contact for their card games.

Later versions of the Victory Streak did, indeed, correct such 'errors' -- not sure about the Mac one (mine is sealed:~(), but the PSX and 3DO versions do fix the problems (as does the Kilrathi Saga version).

What does the manual look like? Just like the original? In that case, it's probably the Mac.

Yes it's just like the original,so it is probably Mac.
I know that they are not continuity errors,I was just
wondering.Anyways, thanks.
On a seperate note did anyone notice that the stunt
Co-ordinator for Priv2 was Nick Gillard?He was also a
stuntman.Does anyone know if this is the same guy who
orchestrated the stunts for Episode1?

There are actually a lot of father & son stuntmen, so it might be possible in this case. I'd still think both Gillards are the same man though.

It probably is the same guy, though it would seem that in this particular case, the almighty IMDB is no help at all... they don't have any stunt coordinator listed for Priv 2, so there's no way to cross-check.
