A little help with Prophecy please!

I bought Wing Commander Gold Edition on ebay a few weeks ago. The flight part of the game runs alright but the movies run at lightspeed. I tried using the Turbo slowdown utility but it didn't have any effect on it. I thought that maybe someone here had probably had this problem before and might know of a solution. I'm running on Windows XP by the way.

u could always go to the tech help section.... though i had the sam prob with my WC4 game, hmmmmm come to think off it its still like that..... sorry try the help section

Try turning down your sound acceleration.
