Based on the other books by the same publisher plus the lack of Freedom Flight or the Telep novels, I'll bet the company has the license to translate books by Bill Forstchen rather than Wing Commander specifically...

I'm from Slovakia. You are right. This novels isn't SLOVAK(Slovakia) translation, but CZECH(Czech Republic). Once upon a time, we was Czechoslovakia with very similar languages.

Brloh.SK is slovak bookshop and he specialized to fantasy&scifi. Many this books is released only in Czech translation, but for pure Slovakian people is'nt problem understand and read book in czech languages, so they(brloh) sell even czech books.

Baen or Forstchen himself may own the reprint/translation rights for the novels, though (I would posit the latter, in this particular case...).
