Recording here since I don't want to be That Guy. I tried a bunch of approaches but it seems that turning OFF compatibility mode and Run as Administrator has resolved this particular issue.
I've seen a few references to this but no resolution posted. Does anyone have a fix for when enemies fail to appear at the jump point in Episode 1 Mission 2? Alternatively, does anyone have a save game for Mission 3 that I can try loading?
The gatling action was part of my enjoyment of the Phantom. If I'm remembering correctly, it worked quite well in multiplayer because of the shaking effect when you get hit. Could be quite unnerving to some pilots until they learned to ignore it.
You won't get any from me, I loved the Phantom.
Our multiplayer matches never seemed to get much out of the tracking missiles, they either got decoyed or the opponent went crazy dodging them and become nigh-impossible to hit with guns in the follow-up. A well-timed point blank DF at the end of...
So, a year or two until someone posts here saying that the Nephilim had been planned since WC2 and posts those screenshots as proof?
I have to say that the Manta does look quite good in the WC2 engine.
My vote's for the Galaxy, though I usually switch to the Centurion for the story missions. The giant profile just made it a little too fragile for some fights. Ironically, I usually survived better in the Tarsus because it's quite narrow to the front. Still, I really did enjoy tooling around as...
I suppose it depends on who's told them, there's probably all sorts of crazy complicated rights related to those packs and I don't want to see GOG getting in trouble because they forgot to cross a T somewhere.
It's also handy for the expansion packs. I managed to get Righteous Fire from my Privateer CD running on the GOG version but I don't even know where my non-KS copies of WC1 & 2 expansion packs are.
It makes sense in that they want GenSelect to spread, kill people and then go away. If it won't live in unacceptable hosts, then there's much less of a chance that sometime down the track it decides that Seether's genes are suddenly quite tasty and wipes out the "pure".
I will say one positive thing about the missiles in Saga, they do increase the reward factor for the Excalibur a heap. I went from Q's reaction to missiles to deliberately taking the time to shoot down missiles and torpedoes because it suddenly became fun to do.
It's a tough one. Jamison seems to be a likely suspect but would Confed have really won the war without the Armistice or would they have just hit a brick wall around Kilrah as the Kilrathi supply lines shortened? Jukaga's actions, on the other hand, seem to have come closer to costing the...
I'm not saying that the Paradigm has to be smaller than the Gilgamesh, just that the turrets on destroyers aren't going to necessarily be the same size. Like comparing the 5" turrets on a WW2 destroyer to the Bofors AA mounts. They're both turrets on destroyers but are of a vastly different...
