    Jump safety

It's easier for an individual raider to slip through than a fleet group, as the individual ship would have a lower EM/Heat Signature. By the time of Privateer 2669, Confed had suffered horrendous losses. The TCS Valliant and TCS Winterrowd are gone, and the 6th Battlefleet was destroyed in...

    Slava Ukraini! (April 12, 2025)

There was no Russia at that time. It would have been the Kyivan Rus, which both states claim as their ancestor. Muscovy wasn't founded until 1263, 20 years after the Mongol Invasion. Muscovy would not become the Tsardom of Russia until 1547. History of Everything has a five-part series on the...

    What happened to Morningstar?

We never really get cost of how much a front line fighter is other then the line from Haylcon in WC1 after you eject where the ship you ejected from cost 100 Million credits. Capi's RPG guide might go into greater detail about the cost per hull.

    What happened to Morningstar?

The other question we have regarding the Morningstar and Crossbow in particular is how many spaceframes were built in the first place. Morningstars were in limited production when the Wild Eagles were testing them in 2667 during the events of Special Operations 2. During the mission to Ayers...

    What happened to Morningstar?

That was part of the reason why Pliers cannibalized The three Hellcats you bring in for spare parts. As far as modifications there is a line from the Novel where they're doing some repair work to Blair's Thunderbolt. Pliers takes a strut off a donor Rapier, and after trimming it to size...

    What happened to Morningstar?

Except for their domestic designs (Banshee, Vindicator, and Avenger). The majority of what the Border Worlds obtained was Confederation Surplus that had been supplied during the war or purchased after the war either directly from Confed or Lend-Leased by The Landereich. Fighters like the...

Best Dogfight.....Heavy fighter or Light Fighter?

Light Fighter vs Heavy fighter WC1 Era Hornet vs Jalthi: The Hornet will win if it can go full afterburner and Shelton Slide around the Jalthi and get behind it and hit it with a Dart and volley of Laser Cannons. Jalthi on the other will win if the Hornet plot tries to pull a frontal attack...

    Fighter/Bomber In-Service Dates Visualized (February 29, 2024)

Ferret has nearly double the armor of an Epee, and is about 20KPS faster so it was more forgiving in a dogfight if you took a hit. Epee has stronger guns with the Particle Cannons and carries a Pair of Darts and Javelins by default which allowed you to hit a target further out. Epee also...

    The silliest callsign

"Star Rider" was a nickname that my Uncle called me as a child. It stuck since then and became my default Wing Commander and Star Citizen Callsign.

13 years and no Star Citizen!!

As a golden ticket member, I've been following the game since it was first announced. The Alpha has come a long way since the days of 2015 when Port Olisar was our only port of call, and we were being sent on DB recovery missions by Tessa Banister. I do miss those missions by the way as they...

Am I bad or is the game just hard?

The Stiletto's armor is paper thin. It only takes one or two Particle Cannon hit's from a Talon to lose your shields and a good chunk of armor. It has a rather large silhouette making it easier to hit then the Ferret or Epee.

Inventory: Wing Commander Academy Co-Belligerents (October 5, 2022)

I don't see why it wouldn't all you would need to do is tweak the target code and you could probably do that with a sample of the target groups DNA. Once you have the parameters set it would probably just be a case of pushing the target specifications to the Nanites in the canisters. If I...

Pre being caught Tolwyn Mindset: I see two possibilities... One he uses the Gen Select Bio weapon on their colony worlds and those that meet the requirements would fall into the strong category. Two he encourages their colony worlds to rebel via the random acts of piracy and terrorism so that...
