The dutch bought the JSF instead of the eurofighter typhoon. Also there is not going to be 1 JSF but 3 models I believe with very different roles. A VTOL Marine version for aircraft carriers A long Range version and a air superiority version witch will replace F16's in allied arsenals.

Nope thats not it, I had the crash a lot and talked to some peeps of the project on IRC. I retested and retested with different settings and I'm 99.9% sure it is the increased fighter visibility tag that gives us the problem. When I switched that off I never crashet into the desktop anymore...

With the US economy being solely fuelled by a out of hand european/japanese loan.. Yeah.. I would hate to see the US have this kind of weapons.
