    WC2 SO1 bug in mission ?

You have to manually dock with the Bonnie Heather - which is done the exact same way you land: request docking clearance via the comm screen, and move to within a certain range.

    WCP High-Res Oddity

I've never had that happen while using the high res patch, and I use the 1024x768 setting as well.

    Release date announcement #3!

Well, now I've definitely got something to look forward to in '06.

    Tarsus Cockpit WIP

It's there, just very dark in that image.

    An interesting problem...

I believe you actually lose fuel in the Broadsword from the rather long trek across the system from the jump point to the Kilrathi station, whether you use autopilot or fly there manually. As a result, if you don't refuel on the way to the attack or before jumping out, you won't have enough to...

    An interesting problem...

I believe a Broadsword can manage two jumps without refueling if necessary - I seem to remember specifically trying to fail the Noveya Kiev mission where you jump out and refuel prior to attacking a supply depot/listening post by jumping back without refueling with the Clydesdale.

Kilrah Slings Some Arrows (December 7, 2005)

Wasn't the cloaking device fitted to the Excalibur in WC3 referred to as a shroud? Since it was also Confed's first attempt at a full cloaking device, perhaps the Academy Strakha is something similar, as in the Kilrathi's first attempt at a full cloak?

    Standoff crashes on loading

Go into the Options area from the Standoff launcher, and set it to run in 16-bit color, rather than 32. That should let it run.

Snips of Ships (December 4, 2005)

Take Crusher's TNG hairstyle with the color from First Contact, and I'd say it's a dead ringer for good ol' Rachel.

    Progress update!

Based on the fact that the SO engine seems to very much push the idea that afterburners = most important part of the ship, I'd believe it.

    Help Me!

If you're running XP, be sure to set the compatability tabs for the sm1/sm2 exe files within the Kilrathi Saga folder to Windows 95 or 98. That fixed it for me.

    Where Does 'Lance' Come From?

I can confirm that - just checked it in KS. The lefthand part of the loadout selection readout reads as follows: LANCE TYPE: Torpedo TACVAL: Cap Ship

    TCS Cimino - Where?

I seem to remember seeing a color shot of that screen listed as being from Armada.

    TCS Cimino - Where?

Scripted - the Barkley goes up half a second after Casey and Co. arrive at the battle. In fact, all the ships in that convoy are scripted to die, save for the Redeemer.

    TCS Cimino - Where?

Is the WC2 Bloodfang considered to be a one-off? The WC3 version's in the document, and was mentioned as being flown by the Blood Most Noble squadron as well as Thrakhath, but were the BMN squad also equipped with the WC2 type? Then again, even if they weren't, there's still that other Bloodfang...

    TCS Cimino - Where?

Couple of things from the class section: The entry for CF-133 Unknown Troopship, the quote that follows refers to a CF-337d. Are these the same ship? The Banshee (II) Fighter - listed under the Confed entry, despite it being a Border World's fighter. I remember a discussion aways back...

The end of Prophecy - Secret Ops

In the both the win-win ending (wormhole captured, alien control ship destroyed) and the win-lose ending (both wormhome and control ship destroyed), the pilots are returned to the Midway - it's mentioned in the last cutscene by Gov. Cavazos.

    Vectored Thrust, Aerodynamics, Cloaking

There is another instance of planetary flight - In WC2, Blair lands a Ferret on either Niven or Ghorah Khar, depending on whether you're on the winning or losing path out of Gwynned (the infamous "So I'm the Admiral's messenger boy?" line).

    TCS Cimino - Where?

The TCS Cimino appears in mission 1 in the sim - it's the transport you find at Nav 1, under attack by a trio of Dralthi, with a couple of Tigersharks providing escort. It jumps out after the last Dralthi is destroyed. The TCS Marburg that Quarto mentions is the second transport that jumps in...
