    Where are the Nephilim from?

Action Stations was released in 1998, IIRC. Prophecy was released in 1997. Forstchen could have had some inside information of what was going on in Prophecy, so it is possible that he did mean the Nephilim in the book. Therefore, I support the "distant sector in our galaxy" option. More...

    Best WC music

I don`t care much for the simulator music, but if people want it, and the CIC agrees to replace the ones on it music page, then I have no problem extracting them too. As for the WC2-opening theme you asked for, Wedge, I uploaded and emailed TC about it, but haven`t seen it on the page yet...

Later that day.... ...well, I downloaded GAP132, and what do you know? The kid is absolutly right, Prophecy inflight music can be extracted with GAP. Great, I guess I`ll have some more stuff to play around with, so stay tuned for more Prophecy music

GAP does a pretty decent job on WC4 music,Backslash, but I`ve never been able to extract Prophecy music with it. If You know something I don`t know about that program, I`d appreciate it.

    Best WC music

Well, Yes, I`ll admit to that. I split the WAVs to 2 channels, but in some themes I moved one of the channels about 5 milliseconds forewards or backwards, to give the music a slightly richer feel. However, there are themes that were originally recorded in stereo, I`m talking about the 7...

    Best WC music

Time for me to chip in my 2 cents Prophecy`s inflight music was more "choir-based" than Oldziey`s earlier works. I found it interesting and sometimes having a "creepier" feeling because you are fighting a new alien race. and you don`t really know what to make of them. One theme that sticks to...

    WCIV Music

Wedge is right, there is the WC4-credits theme in midi format. Not that good compared to the WC3 midis floating around the net, but still... Probably made by some amateur, is what I`d guess.

    Killing Krant

That`s a first one in months.... My stratagy is to try to make them collide with one another. They are usually quite good at that...

    Yippie!! WC soundtrack!

It`d be silly not to ship outside the US, after all, a majority of the signatures are from people living outside the States, right? Anyway, S&H fees for CDs, to Israel at least, is 3.50$ last I ordered one. Shouldn`t be too much of a problem.

    Yippie!! WC soundtrack!

Just popped by to say I`m glad to see that there will be a WCI/II soundtrack. Oh, and hello all too... ;)

    Goodbye!

You know, I`ve often wondered what happens to people with whom I`ve been in contact in various message boards, and who one bright day simply decided to leave and never be heared from again. What is the cause of their disappearence? maybe they got hit by a car and are lying in some hospital...

    ANOTHER Sound Card

I actually find Sound Blaster cards to be not at all that great. Their MIDI sucks big time, including the LIVE, and regarding digital audio - it doesn`t really matter what card you have, they`re practically all the same as long as they`re 16 bit cards. The problem is, Sound Blaster`s mass...

    Sound Card

SB-pro is good for old games, but it doesnt handle digital audio too well, since it`s not a 16bit sound card like the SB16(hence "16 bit") and it`s follow-ups. AFAIK, you won`t be able to play mp3s with it, and I`m quite sure Prophecy won`t work with it(Although I wouldn`t bet my life on it)...

    Sound Card

"Old" is not a synonyme for "bad". It`s usually the opposite, in fact. Dish-washers, Washing machines, cars, computer hardware, you name it. Ask any electrician and he`ll tell you what I just said. ISA may be old, but the next time I buy a PC, I`m hoping they still have ISA slots. Where else...

    Sound Card

What a load of B.S. ,Frosty. I have a 5 year-old ISA SB16, and I`m very satisfied with it. There`s hardly any difference between the digital output of any 16 bit and up soundcard. the difference is only with MIDI output or other stuff like that, and regarding midi, since my SB16 has a...

    Oldziey Makes Tracks

True enough, but the digitized music in WC1/2 KS version, based on the Fatman`s original work was done by Oldziey. His remake of WC1-Intro is my all time favorite WC theme to date.

    Official Music Petition!

My name is Ari Stone aka Mad Hatter, I`ve been collecting Wing Commander music in every format you might think of : midis, mods, mp3s, the works! I`d love to see an official Wing Commander (games) soundtrack CD produced, and I`d certainly pay good money for one. There, how`s that?

    Fantastic music update

Well folks, the music has finally been uploaded. It`s all there, including the midi tracks I converted for Zor, and all 6 WC4 themes that we discussed. More to come.
