    Natural enemies of the kitties?

So lets guess who would be dangerous for kilra's? The birds? Guess not - whatever fast and agressive they were - kitties would easily hide in forest. The snakes? They could be dangerous, yes -because of poison. But they'd never hunt cats for reason. They'd prefer to evade a meeting with a...

Killer Bees. What was their fate?

Yet Hellcat is still capable of scout missions. On some terms it is the most suitable cratf of Confed by the year '73. It has enough fuel to fly long-range patrol, it is atmosphere-capable, and it has enough firepower to defend itself. No other fighter of WC-IV era would suit. Neither Arrow...

Killer Bees. What was their fate?

And so, the Killer Bees became Killer Cats? :) And as for the survival ... how did it happen? Were they transferred off the carrier for that mission? Or were they all out there - searching the safe route to Kilrathi HQ ? In this case it makes sense - they are scout pilots, after all :)

Killer Bees. What was their fate?

I am not doing it for a Space Point, I assure you :) But I am curious about the Hornets' fate. They were too outdated by the WC2 era, but... We know (from Unknown enemy) that Border Worlds DID USE Hornets long after those were forgotten by Confeds, at least for training purposes. How long could...

    Natural enemies of the kitties?

The humans are eaten by almost any big animal - that's because we have become too weak compared to our monkey ansectors. The Kilrathi evolved, too. It seems logical enough. So, what do you think of hypothetic "little furries" who eat kilrathi for breakfast? I am sure - if there wouldn't be...

    Epee Gripes.

Hellcat would have worked against Thrakhath, who would have easily eliminated Angel and her wingmen, for we all know that no-one but Blair (and maybe Todd the Great ;) ) was a real threat for his Highness. The base itself was not a diffcult target, the Prince - was.

    Epee Gripes.

Yet against Thrakhath Hellcat would still be better choice than Sabre, of that I am sure. The Epee would be just too weak, the Thunder - just too slow (not mentioning the Longbow). Arrow would be nice, maybe... But Hellcat still seems to me the best in THAT situation. Blow the fighters, kill the...

What actually happened at K'Tithrak Mang?

And what would Exeter's weaponry then? If Ralari is THAT DEADLY... Sure thing that old trusty Exeter would have something more than it's four turrets and the same single IR launcher?

What actually happened at K'Tithrak Mang?

But still... What would be Ralari's armament? I mean the in-game Ralari, not the in-film one. Definitely in-film 'Claw wouldn't have troubles defeating any capship head-to-head. But.. Speaking of WC1... When in SM2 we do escort Fralthi to the 'Claw, and we meet the other Fralthi, and two...

What actually happened at K'Tithrak Mang?

By the way... What would be Ralari's armament? What threat could it be to the 'Claw? We all remeber Halcyen's words: "Good, we can't afford such a firepower near us...".

What actually happened at K'Tithrak Mang?

It can not be Ralari... Ralatha, maybe, but in no way it can be the Ralari - they never show up in WC2.

    Epee Gripes.

Hellcat would be better than Rapier. Better shields, more up-to-date cannons, ITTS, too ... :) And I'd NEVER take Epee against Thrakhath! He's an ace after all, and you can't be THAT EVASIVE to never get hit.

    Epee Gripes.

All the WC2 ships had no endurance - except the Broad and the Ferret. But amongst all those paper armor ships the Sabre was the best - it had adequate shields, nice enough guns, and its speed and agility were good enough. So... Please stop kicking the poor Sabre. It ain't anything bad - just...

    Torpedo Question

The fuel question, yes... It makes sense. The bomber which can not jump home... It'd be awful. But the salvo? The film (though I can't say I like it in any way) shows us the salvo attack, doesn't it? Or were there "the other models" of Broadsword?

    Why Weren't Fly-Through Flight-Decks Designed With...

But the newest Vesivius still had that vulnerability... Arrogance of constructors - "nobovy will harm the Death Star".... I mean, "our proud invincible carrier"? Or some other reason? Lexington wasn't very old too, I think... Why else would Blair say "...puts old Victory to shame" ?

    Torpedo Question

Talking of "easier" or "harder" would WC2 be with or without torpedoe salvo... Had Broadsword an afterburner - it wouldn't need a salvo mode. But the way it is - the big slow target Ralatha would blow in pieces with her main gun - it needs salvo mode very much (opposed to Sabre, which is fast...

What actually happened at K'Tithrak Mang?

I am still thinking about Blair's fault... You know... It wasn't the first time he was neglecting patrol duty - you sure do remember those three Fralthis in SM2 he engaged in Hornet, not thinking of what he was doing. Was it the same? Was he so busy fighting, that he forgot to report? Then...

    BWS Vindicator

A pity, though, that we couldn't fly Ferrets in Unknown Enemy in real missions, but BW Epee were nice enough. Long range cannons combined with stormfire make it very deadly. P.S. Anyone has Hornet model for WCSO ?....

What actually happened at K'Tithrak Mang?

So... Blair was REALLY guilty? You know... Not reporting enemy encounter... Something to think about...

    Piloting Flaw

The style differs, you know... When fighting AI enemy - I am arrogant and really less than adequate dogfighter. Burn towards enemy, shoot from flanks and tail, and repeat it again and again. Looks like I can't have respect for AI :) When fighting my friend (he's flying Phantom, me flying...
