I have is the EA classic (in a blue box) version, so I'm not sure if it was released at the same time. There is also a version of WC3 for Israel in a box with a Tomb Raider like shape, but I don't know as for the movies, since I can't read what's on the box. It looks like Kilrathi. ;)

From what I can remember, in WC2 (speech pack) she sounds more like an American girl that try a French accent, but I can't remember what she sounds like in WC3. I'll try to watch the movies I give you more info later. I also got a version of WC4 where everybody speek french. Very disturbing.

I guess it's easier to play Space Quest or Dune on it then WC. To fly with that pen thing, it must be tough.

I'll go for WC2. Specially the last mission. I was most of the time 1 torpedo short or my pc kept crashing. But it's the one I prefer the most.

It's not that complicated to have a Toon look. It's just a pixel shader. So if you have access to the DirectX ID3DDevice (version 8 or 9) you can do it. There is even some sample code in Ati's RenderMonkey. I'm not sure if it's coded in ASM or HLSL, but it's like 4 lines of code to load it from...
