I used a panel from the interior of a Kilrathi ship, I liked it so much I may go looking for more to add. The modeling isn't done yet but I felt like doing texture work.

:D more progress on the seventh model I took some designs from the Japanese box art. The blue lights are coming from the mass drivers. I decided to move them into the crevice and use the pods hanging from the wings as the missile launcher like the box art.

This is just great! This reference influences me quite a bit now that I can see it, and the recent Ralari model on the main page appears to take some design cues from this image or others like it as well. So I guess seeing this and the new Ralari model has inspired me to totally redo my Fralthi :D

Boring? I have had the star field as my screen saver ever since it came out, I even pull out my StarTrek DVD just for the intro sequence of stars moving by and the music playing. So I really don't get why space is boring. But this is coming from someone that finds watching the disk defragmenter...

I bought it on DVD as soon as it came out. The effects are hardly why you watch the movie it's more the interaction between the two main characters. Gossett Jr does a good job acting thru the makeup. Anyone know where I can get the ship drawings? I googled it but only found small screen...

nope, I wasn't on a mission. I was curious though because the map color for one of the jump points was grey instead of blue or red so I went to it and then the next and the next and the next, but the further I went I couldn't see any more jump points on the map.

I think I flew all the way to delta prime or as far as the jump points would go but then couldn't get back because I ran out of fuel. I always thought fuel was for afterburners and not for jumps :(. I guess there is no point in going way up into nowhere.

Did any of the other ships originally have more places to put weapons like how the centurion has 4? What planet/station is the red repair droid on, or is that in the expansion only? I had some weird trouble when flying a mission for the guy in the Oxford library, the ones who are stealing data...

ahaha, a huge carrier or something blew me up in a jump point... I don't think both of us fit. :) I noticed some people are reanimated, looks good.
