    WC Collection

Man all this collecting makes me wish I actually had a real computer when the WC games came out. I started out on my Amiga 500 with WC1, I played the WC1 expansions, WC2 and it's expansions, WC3, and WC4 on a friends computer. I have WC3, and WC4 on PSX (yuck!), and prophecy gold. I managed...

    Galatic Races

Steltek.....Are they part of the original WC bible? Or were they just thrown in for "super"-tech and a story arc for Privateer?

    Carrier Landing Styles

Of course freedom flight was in my opinion a very good book. The look into the Kilrathi was good. The thing I remember most is in one chapter they describe the Rapier as "huge", and the Raptor as "Tiny", go figure.

    Fighter craft Armor Repair

I believe so. Hey in FC, didn't they have armor plast sealant that they used to fill in the smaller holes. Virtually useless for protection, but as a stop gap to a small hull breach.

Hey guys I need you help with something!!

I am writing a campaign setting for Dungeons and Dragons, it was originally for a different rule system but conversion isn't hard. The problem that I am having is names of cities, forests, landmarks, kingdoms and character names. This setting is based off a campaign that I ran for almost a...

    Carrier Landing Styles

From the missions that you fly in on the Tiger's Claw, you launch from tubes and land on a single flight deck. As for the Confederation class, the airlock is the only place you would really need to land on, I suspect the rest of the landing strip is for lining up for the approach. Plus you...

    WC2 torpedo runs :(

Not just rare, it is probably very dangerous. I wonder how many anti-matter experiments ended in "accidents".

    Jedi

I enjoyed Outcast more than Acadamy, the plot was better. Though Acadamy does have hours and hours of senseless lightsaber induced violence!!! When I first played KOTOR I wasn't to keen of the game play, but I was soon turned to the light side of the force, since the game was well put...

LotRs Return of the King... a british perspective *spoilers*

I have yet to read the books, and I think I am going grateful that I did it in this order. I am one of those people that is really hard on book, video game, game (you get my point) based movies. From what I have read and heard from people who are fans and a few fanatics of LOTR, there are...

You really CAN find Everything on eBay...

SOme of the carriers from the beginning of the war survived, well namely the enterprise. IIRC the kamikaze attacks only claimed one major carrier the hornet. It was a time of desperation for the empire, it was just as yamamoto predicted, the sleeping giant had awoken. Funny how the british...

    WC2 torpedo runs :(

Like I said it was the first time playing the game, I thought they were just like salthi, I could take a blast or two while I ate them alive with my mass drivers. I didn't know they had nuetron guns.

You really CAN find Everything on eBay...

Wow a vintage WWII aircraft carrier. I remember reading my old air war books about a british carrier that served in the pacific near the end of the war. It has a steel flight deck, unlike american and japanese that used wood, the said that normal bombs merely left dents in it's flight deck...

LotRs Return of the King... a british perspective *spoilers*

I just watched it for the third time yesterday. The part when the horns blow and the riders of Rohan crest the hill, with horns blowing, brings tears to my eyes. And as I said many times before, it is great to finally see a movie that shows what really happens when calvary catches...

    WC2 torpedo runs :(

I remember playing WC2 for the first time, I didn't read the guide book and took on the Sartha head on.... It didn't take to long for me to have to start a new game.

    Jedi

I ended up beating KOTOR five times in about three weeks. I had nothing else to do, and after you know how to do everything you can cut like 10 hours out of the game. It is an excellent game though, I am halfway through it on the female track to get the last story subplot.

    Gettysburg-class Supercruiser

That is a thing of beauty!!! I like how it looks like something from the WC1 era, you can tell it shares common origins with the Bengal, and the Exeter.

    Macross<>Robotech

I will Macross this, they have some fantastic follow up stories. I havn't watched any of the new ones like Macross 7, or whatever they are called, I just saw Macross II, and Macross Plus. They were fantastic, and definatly eye candy, although I kinda got a ROBOTECH: Southern Cross feel for...

    Authentic Robotech Music

One of my buddies has spent a great deal of money getting both the Macross and ROBOTECH soundtracks. Only like two songs from the ROBOTECH tracks were any good, I guess they didn't want to spend any cash for good music for a cartoon. The Roy Fokker theme was pretty badass though.

    WC2 torpedo runs :(

In WC2 the only thing I got pasted in more than a broadsword was the sabre of all things. I think it was just my illusion of being able to take alot more damage than I really could.
