Sorry to be completely ignorant here. but just how badly did it "bomb" commercially? Does anyone have any figures for the amount made compared to the cost of the movie. Also what is required figures for a movie to be considered "box office success". I'm really not much up on this sort of...

KS WC1 CD - which issue of PCGamer ?

Well I've heard a lot of talk about PC-Gamer putting WC1, KS version on the cover of their magazine. So I went to order this back-issue, and guess what? I couldn't find anywhere on their website where they actually talk about what is in past issues. So could someone please fill me in on...

    Idea

Hey try 2 years ! Didn't we shoot up to about 75-80c there for a period, before the gradual slip to 50? Maybe that was when Elle McPherson was still a marketable product, and Pat cash was winning tennis matches :) Everyone knows our economy isn't affected by world markets or economic...

You know, spaceman spiff could probably cause some havoc with a Kilrathi cap ship.

Thanks guys - maybe I should open my eyes !! I'd never even noticed that "quote" button before. I noticed an unopened copy of KS on ebay today for $150 which went like a shot! Sounds like a good deal considering some prices. It really amazes me how many people are out there and desperate to...

Quick: Kilrathi Saga for exactly 200$. buy now!

Ok, just a really dumb and newbie question here: How do you get the proper "quote" thing to work when you are replying to someone's specific comment and you want to include that comment. As you might have notice I just did a cut and paste, and made a real dogs breakfast out of my last...

Quick: Kilrathi Saga for exactly 200$. buy now!

It looks to me like that copy doesn't even still have the box, or all of the extras either (like the one that went for $165 did). I think he'll be lucky to get $200 for it. But then what would I know ? :) Its amazing what people will pay on ebay sometimes. Maybe I'm just jealous because the...

    Hobbes - cartoon connection ??

Well Bill Watterson, the creator of Calvin and Hobbes, claims that this is why he gave HIS Hobbes the name - because the cartoon version is a bit of a philosopher. So it does seem like a strange coincidence, that two cats would be given the same name for the same reason (an unusual name at...

    Hobbes - cartoon connection ??

Well I dunno if this topic has been posted here before, but it suddenly struck me the other day as I was reading some 'Calvin and Hobbes' cartoons, that this was the only other cat I knew called Hobbes (the other one being our 'trusty' wingman from WC - ahem). Does anyone know if this is...

Dumb Question - Rachel and WCP

Ah Redwolf - preach it brother ! It still brings a tear to my eye when I remember the rollercoaster ride from being ecstatically 2-0 up, to depressingly 2-2 in a matter of minutes. I still say we should have a holiday every year in remembrance and mourning. OK, so it wasn't the end of the...

    Shipping Wing Commander goodies...

I got Privateer Gold sent to me here in Australia from the US (Airmail), and it only cost me $10. I didn't think to check the actual postage on the envelope though. I think $13 is way too steep to Canada.
