    The White Ninja

The Mexcian Fish looked very festive. Also, excellent use of the letter "X" and the letter "G". My third grade comic was about a robot created to help Mega Man battle Dr. Wily (circa Mega Man 2). I drew all sorts of new enemies and levels and cool weapons, and he was supposed to be funny...

Now here's a comic we can all enjoy: http://www.ucomics.com/calvinandhobbes/

Tom Wilson is in the Spongebob Squarepants Movie!

Regardless of love or hate for Spongebob, Tom Wilson's an excellent voice actor. I remember him from Gargoyles as Bluestone...what a great show. Also Jonathan Frakes as Xanatos. In fact, I think there were a whole bunch of Star Trek folks that did guest voices.

    The White Ninja

I once drew a comic like this in 3rd grade. In hindsight, it was only funny because I was 9 years old.

    Family Guy

I vote football preemption: a show can't get ratings if its target audience can't see it.

    Universe Map

Hey, question about the map update: How do we know all the star systems connected by the Charybdis jump lines?

    Rachel creeps me out!

Ya, you know, it's too bad we never got to see a FMV version of Sparks, she was a great character, and a cutie.

    Family Guy

I'd argue that Zap Brannigan alone was funnier than any Family Guy episode. "Men, you are lucky men. Soon you'll all be fighting for your planet. Many of you will be dying for your planet. A few of you will be forced through a fine mesh screen for your planet. They will be the luckiest of all."

    Half-Life 2

Half Life 2 is great in that it doesn't require a top of the line system to play it, although if you want all the cool water effects, body counts and particle effects, you need the best of the best. I'm pretty sure my 1 year-old rig can stand up to it. Mine reserved copy shipped...

    Universe Map

It would certainly appear from both WC4, FC, and Prophecy that the Confederation has no real desire to conquer the whole of the Emprie's territory, other than that which was taken from them during the War, hence the large amount of territory still under Kilrathi control at the time of Prophecy...

    Values/Ethics in WC

I think the Wing Commander series does an excellent job exploring the morality of war. Blair wrestling with his conscience over the destruction of Kilrah. The implications of his defection to the Border Worlds. Bear sparing the lives of Kilrathi civilians. I even remember reading a blurb in...

    CIC's Universe Map

Thanks LOAF, you guys are the best. Did you guys use Visio to make these maps, by chance?

    CIC's Universe Map

I was looking through the individual quandrant maps, and I was pleased to see that there is a printable version available with each one (w/white background). Does the entire map exist with the white background, or even just the sector maps? I suppose I could piece it together with a little...

    Halo 2 Anticipation

Anybody see this? http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/10/14/news_6110539.html At least it wasn't the source code (flashback to Half-Life 2) .

    Wing Commander CCG Inquiry

Star Trek is kinda similar to the WC costs in that you need certain skill sets to complete missions and overcome dilemmas, and generally speaking, the major characters don't always have everything you need. You march into a mission your 5 best guys and their missing an attribute or two, you...

    Wing Commander CCG Inquiry

There are several thousand cards ck, and hundreds of Federation personnel. I perfer to play Federation decks with the DS9 chracters and newer, as the newer cards introduced a lot of new game features. WC CCG cards come and go occasionally on Ebay; I've been tempted to buy some a few times...

    Wing Commander CCG Inquiry

Decipher has a pretty elaborate Star Trek CCG Online gaming system, although I've never played. You pay for virtual packs or single cards to build your deck with. They also have mediums to discuss and trade cards, organize leagues and tournaments, etc. Seems like it might be more trouble than...

    ANOTHER R-Named Death

In other news regarding celebrity deaths, former NL MVP Ken Caminiti died this weekend too, heart attack. No suprise though, since he was reaaly heavy into 'roids most of his career, not to mention cocaine problems.

    Wing Commander CCG Inquiry

Sadly, I was too busy with M:TG, Star Wars and Star Trek CCG when these were origianlly available, and even since then, I never had the privledge of owning any cards or playing the game. Anyways, I'm very curious about its gameplay. I've read the rules (thanks to that news bite from late...

    Tonight's TV Pick (September 21, 2004)

Mortal Kombat also comes to mind...they took a mediocre fighting game and turns it into a mediocre B movie.
