I don't know if this thread should go here or under the "Wing Commander Saga" - What happened to the Fleet Tactics website? when ever I try to view it I get the "403 Forbidden" error message.

About the targeting thing - in the gamespot interview you can clearly see "some kind" of targeting - right at the beginning and even later on, at certain points the enemy fighters get a nice red rectangle shape around them... and about the catoonish look - WC1 and WC2 styles are my personal...

This game does looks great! The graphics look awesome, the concept looks nice, and judging from the video's, I'd expect the playability to be pretty damn good, BUT... personally, I still prefer the story driven space simulator - i.e. WC 1-5 or privateer. Also, Xbox has not established itself...

The F-104, being an interceptor, has the higher maximum speed, and better high-speed-performance. The MIG-21 is a dogfighter, and has better subsonic performance, and tighter turn radius. In a Dogfight the MIG-21 wins easily. Even a MIG-17 can take on the F-104 in an outright dogfight and win...
