Is it my imagination or are your years mixed up. I thought the Concordia fleet carriers were new models whereas the Concordia dreadnought was an older model of capship.

Now that you mention it, I took a closer look and it does appear to be launching a Jalkehi, so it must be a Fraltha.

To me it looks like a Kilrathi corvette but I can't be sure. Guess I'll have to go play WC2 again to find out.:)

If they didn't enter service until 2673 then it would seem logical that production started in 2670 or earlier even. There has to be time for testing and shake down of any new fighter concept.

I don't see why it couldn't be atmospheric capable. The front of an Avenger is kinda rounded so it would be possible for it to fly in an atmosphere.

Key word here being "hit". I don't know about you but my accuracy isn't 100%. As to the Mace, with no lock on time you have to be accurate enough to hit your target. If it's something big like a capship or base no big deal. I just think it a waste of resources to equip a fighter with nukes...

I would tend to agree with Wedge009. I too use very few missile unless I come up against a capship and I do't have any torps. I like to load up on IRs whenever possible. Course it depends on the mission. Somtimes I may load up a bunch of FF and if I get swarmed by a bunch of light...
