Speaking of Mechwarrior games, I think Mechwarrior Vengence had some O.K. FMV stuff, but it was shown on this tiny little display the size of a postage stamp :confused: , still the acting was good for an FMV.

Maybe it could be something like Kid, Junior, or Newbie. Especially if it could be given to him by a more senior pilot who thinks he's just a little punk since he's straight out of the Academy without any real combat time.

I like bolter, since callsigns, if not taken from a name, are usually for a screwup. An example would be trigger, for the guy who missed the target while shooting. Most real callsigns are plays of off a person's name. With this, I would suggest something allong the lines of Halman, Haldog, etc.
