Unfortunately Armada works only on my old computer (P200, 128RAM Win98) because my jostick doesnt work under Dosbox properly. So I'm unable to use multiplayer (web).

If you are using AC3FILTER try to configure it (menu start=>programs=>ac3filter=> run ac3filter config) set output format to "2/0 stereo". That helps in most cases. I've got Wing4 (double sided DVD) perfectly running under win98 with only dxmci and ac3filters installed.

I think most people picked the scimitar. Good, it's really good fighter, not the best but... you can rely on it.

The Dragon has cloacking device! it's very useful when your decoys are finished (they should pack more of theese to fighters IMO).

I loved Raptor's cocpit because you could feel safe in it, I also like a scimitar's cocpit (because of the radar was in good position). I also like cocpit of a Centurion, one vdu is enaugh for me.

Is there any way to set joystick manually? I don't know why the game doesn't see my joystick if it uses Windws settings and direct X.. I uninstalled sound blaster, the other joystick and the game stlill doesn't work..

I already used the patch but I think it's for Dos version (doesn't work). I'm trying to get my gameport and usb joysticks up and running (one at a time) but nothing helps.. I've got Joystick calibrated on windows, I use ALT+O and choose joystick as controller and save and it doesn't work.. I...

Well.. I really forgot I can play Wing4 DVD on Windows XP! It works well! I'll use Pentium pro to play some other old games (wing 3 etc). Special thanks to: GULIKOZA for his patch! (easy to use and it really works!!) Thanks for reminding me some obvious facts AD.. :)

Would it be possible to play Wing4DVD on Celeron 366MHz? Or should I use something faster?

Hello, I was trying to play Wing Commander 4 DVD on my older machine (Pentium Pro 200 128RAM) and I am not able to start the DVD movies. I installed the gulikoza's patch and MPEG2 decoder and AC3filters and.. still I can't watch the movies in the game ( the game - flight - works fine)...

The "green gun" from Privateer has cool sound and.. it's powerful as well
