    Wing Commander UK DVD

finnally got my copy, Picture quality was really good, and the sound was spot on. Packaging isn't bad and the DVD menu is certainly no thrills. One thing i noticed that was different to my VHS version is that there are no comms chatter from the baker wing fighters before the kilrathi...

A New Sound from Deep Space...

I like it, a good improvement on the last one, (which I thought stood up well on its own). But its lacking something, i cant quite put my finger on it. as a flowing piece of music its pretty decent, but theres a lack of a sci fi opera theme quality. Theres a forgettable quality about the...

oh yeah lol, "he's flying into a black hole!" "perhaps we should wait?" "no we will continue to follow a single fighter into the black hole and fire randomly until it is too late" Damn the christmas post backlash, perhaps the dvd will arrive tommorow.

John Paul Jones Class Frigate Renders

A bit round compared to the angular carrier? interesting shape, but i think it would fit with your other design better if it was squared off a bit and looked less like a cruise liner. keep up the good work, what program are you using?

    my xbox won't turn on!

phone customer service up soon as possible, if your warrenty is still valid you'll get a free replacement. if it isn't, you can pay for a replacement box, no cables or pads just the xbox. for about two thirds retail price i think. but only a three month warrenty.

    WC Movie Finally at MovieMistakes.com

"Plot hole: The reason for sacrificing Rosie (not sending a rescue party out for her), following her crash, is given by Hunter, when he says "We are running on fumes", suggesting that they urgently need to land, and the Rapiers are seen flying back and forth in the equivalent of a holding...

Confederation Light Carrier - post WCP era

It probably looks massive because of the lack of detailing. For scale, the launch tubes are intended to be about the same size as the midways, that should give you a decent idea on how big she actually is. Im not familiar with the Eagle class, never read the novel. Theres about 20 years...

Confederation Light Carrier - post WCP era

Time to feed my design to the wolves it would seem... :) First things first, this ship timeline wise should fit in 5-6 years after the midway class. she's between a third and half of the midways length and two thirds her width... (guesstimate). She has a Full Squadron of fighter pilots...

    Penny-Arcade and WC Movie

Thing is, Games and film provide two very different forms of entertainment. Im pointing out the obvious, but it seems that people like uwe boll (the director of house of the dead, alone in the dark, and apparently eying up a few other games to bring to the big screen) fail to realise that...

    Penny-Arcade and WC Movie

There are many problems with reguards to movie adaptations of video games. lets use half life one as an example... great story told in a unqiue way that often captivated the gamer. It is still just a vechicle to justify the shooting of things. which is what 99% of half life is. How do...

    Next Wing Commander Game

Need for speed was dying on its arse, at the turn of the century... look at it now. EA is sitting on an incredible amount of intellectual property... it is not ignorant of that fact. Times change, products change, need for speed was changed from a supercar arcade driving game to a gritty...

    Freespace (was HL2 thread)

Freespace, was lacking in atmoshere and setting for me... never got my imagination going. Thus the game was somewhat boring for me.
