I have almost acquired all of the WC novels (I'm missing one that is to be to me shortly). As I've been lurking in the Forums and reading posts I've noticed that there seems to be a difference of opinion as to the order in which the novels should be read. I would think by-date-of-publication...

True enough. The prices for P2 are all over the place sometimes. I got a DOS copy still in the shrinkwrap with a "new" strategy guide for $38. Later I found an opened but in excellent condition Native Windows 95 version for $25.05. I thought both prices were very reasonable.

Sounds like a neat trick. Maybe I'll have to go back and try it while flying the 3rd Jotunheim mission in SM1. :D

Yeah, it isn't the drive. I have 2 PCs with DVD players, one with the actual Creative Labs Encore drive that came with the decoder board. I tested the disks on both PCs and wasn't even able to browse the contents of the DVDs. On a brighter note, DVD #3 was waiting in the mail for me today...

I liked them all, but I'd have to go Old School. WC was better than pizza and beer when I first got to play it on a PC in 1991. I was blown away by how far computer games had come since I'd been in high school. My Sega Genesis just never seemed to be the same after that.

Well.........the first DVD I was sent was warped. The second DVD I was sent was also warped. I was to have received a 3rd DVD last week, but nothing so far. Also, I made this seller aware of the patch around 3 weeks ago. Might just have to end up biting the bullet and writing this one off.
