Since we are on subject of sound cards.... Is there any way to get Privateer I to work with a SB Live? I've tried everything I know and nothing.. called Creative Tech and was told no go because card was PCI and program will not work with PCI. WC for windows works with PCI .. any ideas? Thanks.

Privateer is the best game IMO in the Wing Commander series. I'm still playing it off and on (or I would if the machine would not lock up) on a weekly basis. Open ended, a good story line, everything was there. Privateer 2 was not Privateer. WC1 thru WC3 were great. WC4 sucked. Prophecy was ok...
