    Is there a Kilrathi hell?

    Good catch. Yeah, I think their hell is somewhat leveled like Dante's Inferno and a barren landscape, not a true "Void / Oblivion" as the bugs see it. Again I've seen parallels though in teh Kilrathi and Kzinti as to a special fear of death in space. Its as though if they die dishonored...

    Concordia design flaw

    Depends on the method. Each system has its own flaws that are inherit in the very nature of the design. Launch tubes can be covered at teh end, but need to be opened to launch fighters, so the tubes can be prone to jamning, cloging, etc... damage means fighters can't launch normally...

    Is there a Kilrathi hell?

    From what I read in the books and the Tomes of Sivar website, their "afterlife" is similar to the beliefs of the Kzinti. Heaven - unlike human heaven, Kilrathi heaven is a vast hunting ground with plenty of prey (food animals) to be hunted and killed. Those they have killed in life are...

    Opinions needed

    TCS Over-Caffinated of the High Blood Pressure class ... the ship is always jumping. Its lucky not to have had a heart attack. TCS Brown Trowsers of the Exlax class ... it's always running into battle (and then back home again)! TCS Silent But Deadly of the Broken Wind class ... its...

    WC crossover with Guyver (zoanoids)

    oh... guess I forgot to elaborate on a few things. See... in my version the "femme cat" has problems back home. While she's attractive to the crazed male-zoanoid-hero, she's not exactly "popular" with the males back home. What's worse, the only males who are after her are the ones who...

    WC crossover with Guyver (zoanoids)

    This is an idea I kicked around for a while a few years back and tinkered with to get a "crossover" idea for you fan-writers... especially those with a Kilrathi-persuation. History: Basically, the "GUYVER" series (anime/comics/whatever) history on a general level with a few changes. At the...

    Thoughts on new Star Trek movie (*spoilers!*)

    There was a lot of bashing of the Enterprise ship design. I thought it was pretty good. At first I thought the extra bumps on the forward-underside of the nacelles (under the bussard collectors) was horribly wrong, but after seeing the movie I all but dropped that idea as "the worst thing"...

    Tomes of Sivar

    As far as I know, most of it is directly from either game doc's, books, or text/speech from within the games.

    Kilrathi Corvette Appears in WC Saga (March 11, 2009)

    beautiful cruiser Love the cruiser... any chance of getting a set of pics from the top, side, and front (atypical 3 pictures like you get for most ships). I would like to know its name, stats, shields/armor/weapons also. Thinking maybe I'll do a paper model of it if I can get top, front...

    WC:CD- F-103D Excalibur

    just figured it out on my own based upon reading various novels and different threads and knowing general stuff... (average human IQ is bout 105... mine's bout 127) besides, it all makes sense, right? Explains why the Excalibur lost so much of its edge in WC4, and despite it being high-tech...

    WC:CD- F-103D Excalibur

    the "D" designation sounds about right. Yeah, given the "approximated" history (I've short-listed below) I totally see it being a forth-generation of the ship with three (or more) main retail variants. ----Excalibur Revision History in Brief---- WC3 era -prototype Excalibur (probably...

    Kilrathi language

    Destiny's Forge Destiny's Forge can be read on its own without a knowledge of their story/history/universe. There is bout a 4 page foreward with a quick history and then they delve more into it as they set up the story for the diplomat's mission over the first few chapters.

    Kilrathi language

    OT; just making reference I know it's kind of off topic... but I used it to show that even within a "unified single-species empire" like the Kilrathi that there is bound to be numerous dialects and different tones of voice and so on. Just cause it doesn't show up in the WC games/novels...

    Kilrathi language

    language and subdialects I can't remember details from when I read the books but since the Kilrathi are (to a fair degree) based on the Kzinti (of the Larry Nivens Man-Kzin Wars series) they would probably share a degree of the language sub-types. Unless your specifically trying to mention...

    Thrakhath and Hobbes

    Thrakhath and Hobbes - SO1/WC3 To be honest, a Hobbe's explantion was cut/shortened in the WC3 game, and even in the novel version of WC3 (where they did go into more detail) they did do a lot less than I would have preferred. I mean really, if the clan (forget which one) that did the...

    LEGO Commander salutes CIC

    ~~~... a few specific pieces already exist... the flashpack disk exists as a common round'n'flat piece (usually used with a star or radar-type pattern) in most Lego Star Wars and Lego Space / Lego Mars Mission sets... it just needs the right sticker applied to it. Lego software already exists...
    ~~~ yeah, LEGO W.C. lmao... now there's a fun idea.... a W.C. version of Lego Star Wars!!!!! -fighters and capships could explode into the blocks their made with -could be the usual lego in-jokes like with the LSW (parts falling off, some people making odd jerky movements cause they're...

    Wing Commander Star Is A Hero (March 11, 2007)

    Actually, McDowell's character Mr. Linderman has been mentioned already in the some dozen episodes and has been revealed (so far) to be somewhat a lot like a crime boss. He's hired thugs, assassins, "arranged accidents", fixed elections, along with numerous other mafia-like things. In the...
