    WC wargame idea

I could see SWACs working for traffic control and up to the second recon to allow a capship's radar to focus on more important duties, but remote torpedoes are a bit of a stretch. I would think they'd get shot down easily if fired from so far away that they'd need remote control. Plus...

    Why Do Kilrathi Not Exist?

Hey, something I might know something about... The concept of the Kilrathi as a major race is a difficult one. With their societal base essentially being one of hunting, it's pretty much impossible to develop into a "modern" society. The development of human society was basically...

    Did he or didn't he?

Man, what the hell kind of person is terrified of ducks!

    Thrakkath's Luck

No it didn't. Anyway, back to the original thread. The Kilrathi only learn of Blair being aboard the Victory after the "masked jump point" nebula missions, so it was just a (un)happy accident thay Hobbes was aboard. Of course, that assumes the whole identity overlay storyline which I think...

    Maniac killed Robin!

Courtney Gains was in Memphis Belle as well, he got himself shot up pretty bad and they were considering dumping him out of the B-17 with a papachute. Now if only they could've pulled that off in WC3 somehow... He also was part of Biff's gang in the Back To The Future trilogy. I was...

    Bogue Class

If anyone's got a copy of Aces of the Deep lying around, you can get a look at a Bogue-class carrier in the Allied ships menu. At least in the game it looked really short. However, I smell a WW2 style fanfic comming on...

    Maniac killed Robin!

Mark Hamill was in some war movie with Lee Marvin but I didn't catch the name. I could have sworn he was doing his best Blair opposite Marvin's best Major Riceman...I mean talk about crossovers!

    The most loathed startfighter ever.

There are skipper missles used on your wingmen during the Kilrah run(at least on the first, the corvette shoots them), so being the concerned flight leader that I am, I naturally tried to save him/her. I always needed to turn auto-aim off to get one from behind, but I could occasionally manage...

As Falcon 3 and X-Wing taught me, it is possible to shoot missles badly. In WC, head on or while an opponent is afterburning away from you would usually lead to the missle doing something stupid.

    The most loathed startfighter ever.

Sorry Halman, but I just can't seem to leave behind such a unique and creative insult to my "powers" of argument. It's been echoing in my head since it was posted! :) The Dragon had an odd "bird-of-prey" look to it that I didn't appreciate, and it could cloak with no trouble. Perhaps...

    The most loathed startfighter ever.

I think we had a discussion on auto-targeting, on how you could pay almost no attention to the game and still kill everything with it. I always though it was for babies. Plus I usually had one hell of a time hitting skipper missles with it on.

I always did find a guns only kill much more satisfying, ever since the days of Falcon 3. The Arrow excelled at purist tactics.

You know, has anyone ever tried to make a grand, unified sci-fi timeline? That would be one hell of a feat if it could be done.
