Ripping the 3do wc3 vids is easy. Linux has a driver for opening the cds and the 3do wc3 movie format is fully documented.

Except the Freespace engine DOES support branching. it's in the campaign editor and you can trigger branching based on any in-mission event.

That Hriss model is really well done, the textures in particular are very plausible. The use of colours etc is perfect.

Why would EA ever let the trademark lapse? They still get money from Good Old Games and other vendors they on sell the licenses to.
