Has anybody been able to get the DVD-ROM version of WC 4 to work in Windows XP? I know I have the right hardware and everything since it's worked fine in this computer when I had Windows ME installed, but when I try to run the game in XP I get an error message. Any ideas?

If you're really lucky, you may be able to find it at a small no-name software store. That's how I got WC 4 a couple of years ago. It was really cheap too! Look around in your phone book, and call the small software stores in your area. It beats spending $200 or more for it.

I used Psychopath before WC III. Starting with WC III, I used Maverick, but went back to Psychopath in prophecy.

Check and see if there's a software store in your area that sells used software. I got WC4 for only $10 at a place like that a few years ago. If it helps, the store was called Software, Etc.

I'd have to say WC3's engine was my favorite. The control is more precise than the earlier games, and the ability to use a throttle button was a big plus.
