Ah, previous post assumes that your drivers will function in pure dos mode. :D

You could try running the game from a Dos bootdisk. Since it is easier to troubleshoot, you will then know if your sound card drivers are ok. Otherwise, try experimenting with different settings for Speech/SFX in the Install Menu. Lots of possible combinations, but it worked for me.

If you are using MS Dos as your OS, forget it. MS Dos doesn´t recognise USB devices.

Unfortunately I can´t help much since, with the exception of Prophecy, all of my WC games are MS Dos versions. However, please post which version of Windows you are running, plus your computer specs. The people on this forum with Windows/WC experience/solutions NEED this information in order...

I think it´s a good idea allowing guest posts in Tech Support ( pained butts not withstanding ) since it helps a lot of people get (more) enjoyment out of their WC games and thus is instrumental in ensuring WC worlds´continued existance.
