Frankly, I'm amazed. The new UBB went up when? The 1st or 2nd day of the year? In just under 2 months, we have close to 7000 posts

, and by the time some read this, it probably will be 7000. That comes out to 128 posts a day!

Thats just in General alone, not counting the Fan Fic, Tech Help, and Developers section. Thats almost half of what had been accumlated on the old board, maybe a little more. It was right around 12,000, right Kris, or LOAF, or whoever was keeping track? If we keep it up, thats like 50,581 posts by the end of the year, and thats just in General chat

! Hehehehe, I hope no one puts a big cap on the CIC's bandwidth

PS; These are rough figures and should not be relied on in anyway, they are for example and emphasis only.

Note that your 12-14,000 post estimate for the old board covered about eight months of post-movie non-peak time. The board was reset and all posts wiped around April of 1999. But you guys still have been posting a whole lot, enough to compare to regular agwc newsgroup traffic. And yes, the UBB is a serious portion of the CIC's total bandwidth here.

Yes, that's REGULAR AGWC posts. We really haven't been getting as many as normal lately.

Oh, but we get tons compared to your average (or even your above average) newsgroup or chat zone does.

Well yeah, but we're kind of in the middle of a little (well actuall rather big) drop in posts on AGWC.
