Oh by the way, regarding the Eisen, (this is assuming the designer of SO to be taken out of the equation). Why would a ship as important as the so called Vesuvius Class TCS Eisen be one, named after a Rear Admiral who is probably an unknown to many. Obviously, a great man/character, but surely in ConFed's long history there were people of greater importance or events that shaped history more than one man.
Secondly, if the ships were named after mountains, why would ConFed, with a tradition of naming, throw in relatively unimportant man's name into the equation? Surely the Krakatoa or Everest would be much more grander sounding names. Names that stir pride and awe in anyone who hears it?
This is in no way an attack on the character of Eisen, I thought he was a very respectable, honourable man.
---Indeed he was. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong about this. Far be it from me to cause any undue anxiety, but I believe I heard that Jason Bernard died of a heart attack some time ago. Perhaps this is simply ORIGIN's way of paying tribute to the man.
