Wing Commander + Crimson Skies?

Crimson Skies has always been one of my favorite games (Both the PC version and the WizKids Figure game). I always thought it would be a neat idea to have a Wing Commander version. I've made a basis for an adaptation that can be printed out and played, provided you have the rules to Crimson Skies (http://www.wizkidsgames.com/crimsonskies/cs_article.asp)
Since it is difficult to make printed dials like in Crimson Skies, I have cards that can be printed out and used with markers for shields, missiles, and armor. The attached file is a sample of a stat card for a Thunderbolt. Any suggestions?

That looks like a neat idea... - I'm not being much of a card game player myself, but I've always liked CS, and the material & rules at wizkids looks pretty thorough. I guess it won't pull much weight against the WC CCG, but it might challenge people to compare, and to dig up the old cards again.

btw: The font used in your sample card isn't embedded, so it looks a bit weird on my machine. But quite nice for a first shot...

Funny... In November I had the idea of creating something like "Crimson Commander" and played around with it, eventually discarding it. I thought it wouldn't be too attractive for the community. Nice to see, though, that someone else - who apparently happened to have that same idea - actually tries to realize it! :)
Although I have to say I prefer the original Crimson Skies over what WizKids made of it... ;)

Agreed, Wizkids botched Crimson Skies...but I think a WC miniatures game would be pretty cool. I would suggest using the Full Thrust rules as a baseline if anyone's got them (I don't) - the books USED to be available electronically for free, so if anyone's still got the PDFs, mind sending them my way? I think they're right out of business now.
