Wing Commander 1 remake

hey guys, i saw on the fanmade games page on this site that WC1 was remade. I checked it out and it seems very much unfinished. Do you guys know if it was abandoned? Any plans to finish? Any info would be appreciated cuz I think it would be great to have the same old game with new gameplay but the same game otherwise.

I also checked out that remake a few weeks ago.

Some statements in the readme file about problems with cutscenes etc make me believe that the project is dead.

yeah i think you're right. its too bad. i got really excited when i saw it was available for download. then really sad that it wasn't finished
