why was the Arrow's speed lowered after Armada?

And how much confidence do you have in the claim of a dolt like Flash...? :)

Isn't that how the game delivers information to you?

The Devastator's heavy plasma is new tech and should do more damage than the fusion cannon. Otherwise the Dev would have the fusion not the plasma.

"Do not take orders from"

Ahh Flash's a major/lieutenant (can't remember which? :( ) and Blair's a colonel. Do the math :)

Major Dillon could give orders to most of the people on the Victory. He was a major. I'm sure Flint was a Lt, Vagabond and Vaquero were too.

The "Do Not Take Orders From" was telling Captains and under not to take orders from because he's a vapid idiot.

Only because he was too much of a pansy to go out and fight on the lines....

Wow... Test pilots are pansy's now?[/B]
Flash was, not test pilots in general. IT's made very clear in the novel that he was handed the test job due to his father's influence (IIRC) so he would be out of harm's way. And considering his reluctance to participate in the scramble mission in the game....

You get the idea. He's a pansy. :)

I believe Flash's interview in Victory Streak calls it "pricey".
For the time, being brand new, perhaps. But after a couple of years, it should be standard.

I'm not sure about that... How can you lower the price of a F-22 Raptor? Even if you build 2000 it will still be "pricey", to say the least.
I meant, it should be standard equipment, not necessarily cheaper. The F-22 costs more than the F-15 it is designed to replace, but it's still going to become the standard USAF fighter in a few years.

If Flash's a coward why is he even in the military at all? Secondly if there is no way for him to avoid military service then why test piloting? Testing new experimental craft can be more dangerous than front line work.

Flash isn't really a chicken... He was a test pilot until he joined the Home Defense Squadron in Tamayo where he served for two years before his transfer to the Victory after the activation of his HDS in the confederation navy.

I didn't say he was a coward; I said he was a pansy. He tries to find the easy way out of things, and whines about it when things don't go just the way he wants.

Also, testing CAN be dangerous. Fighting on the front lines IS dangerous. Significant difference. :)

Well he might be all what you guys have called him, but he's a good pilot in the game nonetheless...

Wha...??? If Flash is good in the game, then the other pilots are absolutely legendary.

Flash sucks.

But the Hellcat is also the crapiest medium fighter in any WC game! I'd rather have an Arrow or even a Hornet or an Epee over that! [/B]

crappier than a scim? you must be joking me!

I'd rather ride the Magic Friggin School Bus than a Hellcat!!!

Didn't have that impression... but whatever... :)

Supdon, I think there was a space episode where the Magic School Bus made a torpedo run on Kilrah and failed. The children were enslaved and the teacher made a spectacle of. :)
