I loss some bookmarks. I would like the site for the WC tech support staff. I believe Loaf posted it once. Thanks
 
The site is there, but if you try to follow any of the links, at this time they don't go anywhere. (Granted, I didn't try all of them, but I did try one or two from just about every game.) At that point I defintely felt I had detected a trend :)
 
Thank God for that WayBack Machine thing... since the old tech support site seems to have finally been removed, try this instead:

At least the FTP server seems to be intact (but then again, I only tried one file - the Armada patch readme). But damn, this new Origin site is depressing... the only WC info that I could find on the new site was that it's a registered trademark :rolleyes:. And the contact section is a total joke... it would seem as though anyone who does not have a UO-related query need not bother contacting Origin at all.

...And how did some guy with no experience whatsover in the entertainment industry get to run what was once one of the greatest computer game companies in the world? :(
 
I'm glad Origin's running their own site, again, though -- the flash-crap that EA did for them and never, ever, ever updated was just as bad as not mentioning Wing Commander.

Their contact people are fully willing to talk about Wing Commander, though, as I can personally attest to <G>

(Further -- I've almost reconstructed the entire tech support site... I'll put it up on blacklance.org once I finish fixing images to point correctly and such).
 
Well, then I'm glad somebody at least sees a positive side to this. And I hope that, unlike that flash-crap EA did for them, this site will at least be updated every once in a while ;).
